Updated this badboy with a new design and reworked the wiring a bit.

The minigun is now controlled with only 2 levers, making it much easier to control.
controls are also writen on signs above the levers indicating what controls what.

okay, so onto the technical aspects:

-just like the old design 8 dispensers firing arrows or eggs or whatever you put in them.
-one lever activating the bottom half, one lever activating the top half.
-using a stable rapid pulsar combined with a constant active redstone signal.

so, whats new?

-awesome gold stripes, just for fun,
-the whole thing is a bit smaller then the last version
-reworked the interior a bit, making it easy to find and reload the dispensers.

this one comes with the following upgrades:
-awesome look
-automatic firing with central stop and startbutton
-8 barrels
-four firing modes:
-0%
-25%(not just 2 barrels shooting, but 4 barrels at half speed)-384shots/minute
-50% -768 shots/minute
-75% -1152shots/minute
-100% -1536shots/minute

i made this with a double rapid pulsar, with a override button, to disable the rapid pulsar on command(this way i get the half-power mode)

okay, revamped this old piece to 1.8, made it more efficient, easyer to control and just more failsafe in my opinion
