The Gilamarna project:
The Gilamarna, meaning "Mortal World" in Morthanian, is where many different peoples and cultures exist. The Azerath Nations, Authorania and Palorium are the three dominant superpowers in the world, they are culturally different and their relationships have gone from greatest of allies to bitterest of enemies. However these three superpowers have fundamentally shaped the Mortal World through influence. Although these three superpowers dominate their respective regions, most of the Mortal World is inhabited by independent kingdoms, tribes, villages, etc. with their own unique cultures and histories.

The Azerath Nations:

The Azerath Nations are a Confederacy of nations under the "Azerath Treaty". Each nation has their own laws, government, economy and culture, but nations under the Azerath Treaty must follow universal laws set by the Dynasty Nation.

There are 9 nations in the Azerath Treaty, these nations are:

-Vulharenjiard
The oldest nation in Azerath Nations, founded by Draemor the Brave
-Jiarengrad
The most powerful nation when in its prime, this nation began the First Dynasty, thus beginning the Dynasty era.
-Vascova
Built by Diamond Miners, this nation was once the richest nation in Azerath Nations
-Dinsfurd
The first nation that was not founded by a god-king, this nation is the smallest in population and size.
-Harlemruud
A small nation tucked away in the mountains near The Palace of Kings
-Devinshire
This one of a kind nation, is the only nation with a totalitarian form of government under the Azerath Nations treaty.
-Baasvonclad
Founded on the promises of futuristic technology by the God-King Purlomas the Smart, this nation is the largest nation within Azerath Nations, and has never seen any futuristic technology.
-Jaarjiadia
A large desert city. Although they are mostly independent and the people speak a different langauge then the universal one spoken in Azerath Nations, this desert city is part of the Azerath Treaty.
-Devfraern
A small and peaceful human nation, this nation was the last to join the Azerath Nations Treaty.

There are also a varity of nations that are not part of the Azerath Treaty, Including:
-Deleon

This Island nation is hidden, and not part of the Azerath Nations treaty. Can you find it?
-Portside
A small port nation that is a large trading checkpoint, Portside is the territory of Jiarengrad.
-Melyndor
A small Farming nation in the middle of the Baastheoleon Desert, owned by Baasvonclad.

AUTHORANIA:
Authorania is a nation that does not fall under the "Azerath Treaty". An Elvan-dominated nation built from the ashes of Morthania, this independent nation, serves as a main rival superpower to the Azerath Nations. Although not current enemies, the two nations have had a long history together, from bloody wars as enemies, to crucial military aid as allies. Authoranian religion revolves around Elvan gods and goddesses whom are worshiped for their creation of everything that makes the world. Even the nations name "Authorania" is based off the Elvan goddess Authorena, the "caretaker of the Elvan Race". Authorania does not consist of a unity of nations like the Azerath Nations, but consist of unified states that fall under Authoranian rule.
These states currently are:
Capital City
Danes
Moraseau
Langshire
Edenborough
Jiagnotvershire
Sovenshire
(more being built with future updates)

REPUBLIC OF PALORIUM:

The Republic of Palorium or Palorium is a human superpower nation located in the northern taiga biome, bordered by the Independent Territory in the south and the sea in the North. Palorium is the birthplace of the republican governing system and remains the biggest republic in the Mortal World.

Palorium is a seafaring nation, with most of its imports coming from nations overseas. Due to its heavy reliance on oversea trade, Palorium has the largest navy in the Mortal World. Due to its large naval influence, Palorium also has many territories overseas. These territories are primarily governed by Palorian politicians, typically former Generals.

Palorium's government is the Mortal World's only Matriarchy, with women controlling the government and occupying the highest positions within the workforce and family unit. Males primarily only serve leadership roles within the military, which is primarily served by men.

WORDS FROM ME:

Welcome to my project, the Gilamarna (formerly the Azerath Nations)!

This project started as a small experiment, but over time, I have been adding more and more to it. Now this world consists of many nations, both "treaty" nations and independent nations, that each have their own history, form of government and culture that I created. Most nations have books written on them about their history, although quite a few of them are not finished yet. Each new nation has some sort of new experimentation in architecture, and I did this to express the difference in culture.
Originally, the nations I were going to build after dedicating myself to the "Azerath Treaty" storyline, were in close group with each other. You can notice this by the fact that 7 of the 9 nations built so far for the Azerath Treaty are very close to each other. I decided to expand the nations distance from now on, adding Jaarjiadia, the desert nation, which is a VERY long distance away. I did this, so now when walking to the farther nations, you can stumble upon the independent nations built in between.

You can do a varity of things in this world, other than explore each nation. There are books that I have written, that vary in genre. And you can find some hidden things, such as secret dungeons and even secret nations. Some of these hidden places are easy to find, some of them are very hard to find!

I build this world for fun, and I am constantly updating it!

IMPORTANT: If you spawn in the middle of some swamp, keep heading south!

Asthos Tremedon and BOATS! : by Zizumias 12/12/2025 10:50:46 pmDecember 13, 2025 @ 3:50 am UTC

I completed the Palorian colony of Asthos Tremedon.

I also worked on several ships. I revamped my style for ships, making them more detailed, starting with the Transvidalian Liner which can ferry you from the Langenmyre continent to the Vidalian continent. Since I got used to this new style I've been creating a few more ships. Currently I am working on replacing the old style ships with the new style.
I am also in the middle of working on a new City-State for Authorania. This City-State is a complete WIP right now and I don't even have a name for it yet. But I wanted to create a seaside City-State to give Authorania access to the Labentine Sea and participate in trade and colonization in Vidalia.

This is one of my favorite maps. Its not as fancy as some maps but its entirely functional while the fancy maps often are not. If I might make one suggestion I would say you should populate the cities and villages. Also if you could add the "occupational blocks"(smithing table, loom etc.) so that you can trade with the villagers. It would be great as a survival world.

Thank you for your kind words!

Several years ago I tossed around the idea of populating my world (see Aldyyr has villagers in it) but at the time, I found them to be in the way so I dropped the idea.
As this map is made for people to explore and interact with, it makes perfect sense to have the nations actually populated. I will consider populating my finished areas and just keeping the WIP areas clear till I'm done with them. With that will include occupational blocks. It may take a little bit, I need to figure out how occupational blocks work and renovate some interiors through all of the nations I have built.

Thanks for being a fan :)

The occupational blocks are pretty simple. They're actually called "job site blocks". A villager will first need to claim a bed to sleep in. Then they will find the nearest unclaimed job site block and that will define their profession.

https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Villager#Professions

Both the bed and the job site block act like an anchor that keeps the villager in the area. But both will have to be accessible to the villager. I noticed that in a lot of your houses you had a ladder to get to the second floor where the bed is at. Villagers cannot climb ladders and they cannot open fence gates or trap doors.

The update is underway but will be delayed a bit lol. A Windows update corrupted my computer's operating system so I had to reset my computer. Since the save state is connected to the MC app, that means I lost all my progress. No worries though, I am working on it again!

Ah okay. I'll have to figure something out about the upper story bedrooms, maybe just add a ground floor beds to some of them for the villagers. Thanks for the help!
