I finally made a clock that I wanted for a practical use in keeping day time and clear weather.
I dubbed it the 'battery clock' because it looks like a battery filling up and losing power.
the clock charges fully and then when it hits the end, it loses charge all the way to zero, and then fills up again.
I made it to go the maximum length for one single comparator to go to, but the size can be adjusted to go faster if needed.
The most interesting part for me was the use of the pistons. it pulses one single charge to a sticky piston so that the sticky piston will either push it and keep the redstone block there, or retract it when the time comes.
I will probably try to come up with a better version at some point.
