Our first major project, Battleship Yamato, on our Minecraft server Minecash. We are resurrecting its beauty and might by slowly building it to the best of our ability and by this blueprint (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/08/Yamato1945.png) founded by our good friend and admin, Nightmarejr. (Old News)

Because we re-built this giant, i decided to rename it Battleship Yamamoto. It was quite a nuisance to rebuild it again, but coming this far, it was well worth the effort.

Back and frontal decorations and details. We are close to finishing it now, still the center and the extreme details inside the ship left.

By far, i believe its 400 blocks by 72 width? Forgot the calculation myself. The first time we started this, i decided to make to 220 blocks length by 30 blocks width. When we made the deck, we saw that it needed to be MUCH bigger, so we increased it by twice the size, and this is how it turned out. We still need to sculpt the back and the front, but once our server gets back on, it will be updated :)

I do have to wonder why you chose to make the Yamato japanese battleship when you could of made the U.S.S IOWA class battleship which is much larger that this one?

LOL if u think the iowa class was bigger, u better recheck ur battleships lol. Yamato is and still is the biggest battleship in history, even aircraft carriers fail in comparison. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGy5ApynvBw This video is but a shorty preview of its might. lol and besides, it had the biggest guns and still does. thus y i wanted to make it :D
