Man, I've been a real moron! I've been automatically assuming all this time that 12:00 PM EST would be midnight, not noon. Since it is only two hours left, I won't be able to finish my contest entry. =( If it were possible to extend the time left I would be extremely grateful.

Are we aloud to use heads?

If we wanted to make an island, are we allowed to surround the plot with water and rocks instead of the path and trees?

When i download the zip folder do i get rid of the zipped folder after i've extracted it in the saves folder in order for it to work?

Are we allowed to use command blocks to place armor stands with hands to hold items?
I want to use it to add small aesthetics to my build.

Question: are you allowed to use World Edit? It says in the FAQ that you can use tools that aid in the building process, although I'm not sure whether World Edit would be considered a tool or a mod.
