Hey Minecrafters!

So today I am showing you my first test of the "Binary Encoder". Soon I am going to hook up my 3 parts together and start forming my computer! I am quite excited and hope this will all be done soon! If you find any problems just message me!

Also I attached it to a 4 bit Decoder for easy testing! So far I haven't found any problems and hopefully everything will work great!

What are you planning on using the encoder for? I'm guessing it's
decimal to binary, which I haven't seen utilized too often, except in
the case of word processors and some calculators for a more user
friendly input. I'm just curious what kind of mechanism you had planned
for this.

I was thinking of using it to save RAM. I will just use a Encoder for less inputs. I think it may save room, but idk yet, still just building.

I saw RAM connected to inputs of a decoder in the other project, that part I get. What I'm wondering is what will the unary (Noticed I've been calling unary decimal, my bad.) data be controlling? And what will be sending unary data through the encoder, back to the standard binary on your bus.

I am just learning so simply trying different techniques to save some space, for now I am abit lost in my own creations and I am just trying to get some pieces together xP I was hoping to turn my 36 input keyboard into something smaller so that is why I am making a Encoder. I am just praying it will work

Ohhhh... you'll need more than 4-bit binary to support something like that. At least 6 bits, but at that point you might as well make it an 8-bit CPU. All you can get out of 4 bits is 16 possible codes.
