Biodome Vault

Over several weeks, we (two minecrafters who only wish to be known as reiuyi and gideon) used a glass dome (made by ToxicWaffle; posted here http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/glass-dome/ ) to construct an airtight biodome vault. Alongside, we constructed a small village that supposedly takes care of the dome.

Several redstone circuits are present underneath the biodome to provide the necessary functionality for the hermetic seal and several methods of watering the plants. In the middle of the biodome stands a large tree that grew over a long period of time.

The schematics include the biodome and a small village. Additionally, there is a piece of flatland (plains biome) to aid in the seamless integration into your map. You can paste this into plains, forest or swamp biome. The progress bar was set to 90% due to the houses being undecorated and the village itself was not yet completed upon extraction from our map. To get a feeling of a small village, several more houses and pavements need to be included. Perhaps you or your crew can finish the project for your own map.

Additional Notes

MCEdit was used to place the glass dome and coat the inside of the valley with mud. The wood of the large tree was applied by hand. The leaves of the large tree were placed using MCEdit.
