[Welcome to Bowindale, a older neighborhood on the northeast side of Avalon. This neighborhood was built in the later 1920's and grew in size until 1956. Most of the original houses were torn down to build new houses, one of the last standing original structures is the water tower, located in the park. There are two very small commercial areas in the neighborhood, one area takes up two city blocks, and the other takes up one.]
