Brass Islands 4K was originally commisioned by a client but after he told me he wouldn't be needing it anymore before it was done I decided to still finish it, make some nice renders of it and throw it on here.

The 4K by 4K map is made up of 3 big islands and a few smaller ones scattered around the coast. The biggest island is mostly a variety of forests with some snowy mountains to the north. The second biggest island is a rotten wasteland with pointy rocks sticking out of mountainsides and a big volcano up north. The third biggest island is located at the southern end of the map is a large mesa desert with massive cliffs everywhere.
The map survival friendly with structures enabled and all stone types and ores enabled, however villages and caves will probably only be found around the custom terrain on fresh minecraft generated terrain (strongholds, dungeons and mineshafts should be on the custom area).

The trees used on this map are from my own tree repository that can be found HERE and a few from the conquest tree pack that can be found HERE.

Great work! Also, what method of rendering did you use? I haven't seen such a top-down terrain render on chunky anywhere!

Chunky used way too much RAM and took way too long to load the whole map so I used a heightmap to make renders in the free version of Terragen 3. Thats also why you cant see the trees on those renders.
