nice job!  Here's a little tip.  instead of doing the destroy thingy for the fill clock, you could do two /setblock or /fill commands.  
so, for example. 

/fill ~ ~1 ~ ~ ~1 ~ stone
/fill ~ ~-1 ~ ~ ~-1 ~ redstone_block
This clock has no noise.
(If the fill clock doesnt work, switch the blocks around.)
