An unlikely but quite attractive amalgam of Socotra-style desert and lush grassland. Named for its vibrant multicolored mountains, Calico is the main setting for most of my works, Minecraft or otherwise. The landscape is optimized for survival and creative alike, with boosted mineral deposits and plentiful flora.
All plants were handbuilt by me. This map was built using WorldPainter and MCEdit. As for the brushes used in WorldPainter, I've scoured the depths of hell trying to find where I got them, to no avail. If they're yours please give me a link to the PMC page so I can credit properly. Thanks!
(The brush pack was a couple hundred brushes based on real-life locations such as Crater Lake and the Rocky Mountains.)
