The theme I wanted when decorating this house was for a modern "cottage" sort of vibe. I wanted to go for a look that made it a countryside home in which I tried in this process. The backstory I made was a single mom who lives with her son in this house and it turned out to be kind of run down sort of a look. In the son's bedroom he has some secrets- like the attic with blood and his shelf with a skull on it. I wanted to also make it cozy looking like a cottage- kind of; Also "foresty" for the exteriors.
