I only started building this castle recently. It's modeled loosely after Neuschwanstein and castle Wolfspike, a modification for TES4 Oblivion. The point was originally to just ... build. I wanted to start a new castle with a more interesting layout. Right now it seems like Rénouille will serve as the seat for the roleplay family Devereux de Gavray on the RP server Aethier.

The style is something I elaborated on in my other castle, Château Gavray. I'd define it as some Frankenstein-mix between romanticism, gothic, victorian and baroque. In the ... sense that the layout is gothic revival, the roofs and gables are victorian and the details / interiors are fairly baroque.

This one's much larger than my other castles, although still within bounds of decency. There's a separate front building for the housing of guards and servants, along with a stable and carriage-post. The main building includes everything from lounges and great halls to bedrooms and theaters. All together, there's five floors above ground and three below, with a detached guest wing, a separate servant wing and a main building. There's a main tower with spacious top as well, a kind-of Bergfried following German castle layouts.

I've yet to finish the interiors, and am planning to do full-out detailed ones of that. As you can see this castle too was made with dedicated interiors, meaning the inside and outside built parallel to each other in order to create a perfect fit. We'll see how the rest will turn out.

If you look at the last picture on the layout, you can see parts of the back (left side) are missing. Additionally, interior is far from done.

So yeah. It's a ... WIP for the while.
