Hey guys! Drayman here with the awaited 70th subscriber map! This by far is one of my most sucessful maps ive ever made, both in making the map, and the renders. The map consists of a large mountain chain branching off of a large island. I feel that i placed the snow perfect on the mountain, and that it gives the average player the feeling of small size. This map was made in World machine and world painter, while the renders were made in chunky. I hope you guys enjoy the map and the story below, and ill see you next map, peace!
It was april 28 1987 when we reached this new land. We had been sailing for three months, with nothing to please the eye but the endless blue sea, and the white, frothy clouds. It was the most exiting day when the glimses of green grass and yellow sand were seen in the horizon. We reached the island by noon. 'Ive never seen mountains like that" I thought when we were making our way to shore. Great looming peaks of rock and snow stood before us, cutting through the clouds like knife and butter. These peaks held great beauty, but while they are pretty, they also showed hardships, getting around these great peaks would be the biggest challenge yet.
