This is a compact number display that uses redstone torches and a redstone length decoder. The buttons start at 1 in the bottom left corner.

Is it possible to translocate the button panel? I tried to but it didn't work

It would be tough to move it because it relies on redstone signal length and if you move the buttons the signal length is changed. It would probably have to be redesigned a bit to be able to move the buttons

ok, I asked this because I want to use one button panel for 4 displays.

That would require a different design for the inputs and displays. Having 1 button panel control 4 displays independently means that it needs a binary counter (if you wanted to plug in numbers in a specific order) or any other method of activating one display and de-activating all others.

Really cool! Are you able to add a 0 and/or reset button?

Yeah I could definitely add both but it would increase the size a bit. Kept it at 1-9 because adding a 0 would add about 2-3 to the height. Adding a reset would probably just add one to the width.

If you think about it, it's actually worth it, and don't have to worry about map makers that wanna use this won't have to worry about searching for the solution to adding 0 and reset themselves to work. And imo, size don't matter! xD
