I remember back when I was first getting into minecraft years ago, I played on the xbox 360 and xbox one editions. and a staple of these versions were their tutorial worlds, massive worlds built by 4j studios to act as tutorials, as well as a challenge for players, there was so much to explore, and much of my earlier minecraft days were spent on those worlds. so I have decided to port one of my favorites to java, the TU41 update tutorial world, this was the update that brought elytras and end citys to the xbox one edition, as well as the amplified worlds, and dang did they do a spectacular job of using the amplified world to their advantage, this world is amazing with its many large canyons and ruins.
I decided to add a few custom mini dungeons in, hidden around the world to add my own twist to the world, rather than just outright porting it without doing any real work. there are a total of 13 of these hidden around the world, and they can consist of a single room, all the way to a massive complex comprising of several floors. these dungeons have traps and puzzles, and while this is a survival world so a player can easily just dig their way through all the traps and puzzles, completely bypassing them, but I assure you there are other solutions to the puzzles, and it will likely be more fun to find them rather than just bypassing them. though, its ultimately up to you as the player what you will do.
As for the mini dungeon locations they tend to be near or in the mob statues around the map, though not all statues have dungeons. enjoy!
