Corrales: Argentine farming town

Hello again PMC. After several months without posting anything, I bring to you what I hope it's the first project my perfectionist ass gets to finish, or at least achieve a good progress on. The idea is to create a fictional farming town with a rural Argentine style: peaceful, green, and with obvious signs of economic decadence. For the moment I'm basing my buildings in General Villegas, a compost-scented town in the northwest of the Buenos Aires province with a really nice church.

To give you some background, most of these farming towns were founded during the mid 1800s as the Argentine state gained lands from the tehuelches, an indigenous tribe who liked hiding in the bushes, just like the Vietnamese. It's an area where you can find very rich vegetation, composed by grass, grass and grass, and incredible 3 feet tall mountains. It's the middle of nowhere, like seriously, towns are no less than one hour away from each other. But at least it gives good crops.

The version I'm using is the 1.14.4, with the 64x Flows HD resource pack and the Chocapic13 Toaster Edition shaders (yes, that how shitty my PC is). I have tried to maximize the compatibility with default textures, but it's not perfect so I recommend using the pack. Any version of it will do.

You may have noticed this is a repost. The thing is I initially classified this project as complex but then realized it was a smoewhat unpopular section so I changed it to land structure. Unfortunately, the project ended up not appearing in any of both sections, so I'm reposting it so it doesn't get lost in the mist of time.

I had no idea toaster shaders would look so good.

Beautiful build!

Thanks, I too was very impressed by the quality and lightness of the shader pack. Totally recommend it for weak PCs

This is pretty great! Beats my basic building style for my map. Mine is more story based anyways lmao.

Thanks bro. In adventure maps functionality beats aesthetics, so if you make an entertaining map you don't have to worry about building quality. This is not the case though xD

Yeah for sure. Hey, if you're ever interested in putting some buildings in my map, I'm more than happy to build with you. Regardless, great map! I look forward to your future work
