Hello! This is my interpretation of an ideal neoclassical themed library. My design is inspired by the Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. The map also includes a garden complex and a pillar statue in addition to the main structure. The library itself contains a whole host of rooms and elaborate interior decoration, including an archive chamber, a rotunda reading, private studies, lounges, offices, and special exhibits.
Additional Info:
Now with regards to what this means for future maps, it's safe to say that this is the start of a new series. I'll be spacing out my publishing tempo a little bit more given life commitments, but I plan to publish my take on neoclassical architecture in a build series (starting with this). Does this mean I'm forever ending my traditional Roman architecture builds? No, not at all. But I want to take a little bit of a break and venture on to something of a similar style that allows me to continue my promise of quality builds that are free-to-download. The simple truth was that I got burnt out from constantly making just Roman builds over the past year and a half, and even though it was a lot of fun, I need a break from the subject before returning with more ideas.
Anyways, please enjoy the map -- there's lots to explore! And yes... this is a "survival friendly" build with no usage of debug stick or any of those types of edit mods. More to come!

Lighting Fix : by japersx 07/29/2024 12:22:59 pmJuly 29, 2024 @ 4:22 pm UTC
This always seems to be a problem on the first upload because I keep forgetting to paste entities -- so the lighting wasn't working on the interior. Everything should (hopefully lol) be okay now! Thank you to those who dm'd about this.
