Cova Castle – Neo-Medieval Palace in Milan 🏰🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
Cova Castle is a historic building located in the center of Milan.It was built in 1910 by architect Adolfo Coppedè in a neo-medieval and eclectic style.

The building later inspired the architects of the BBPR studio when designing the famous Velasca Tower, completed in 1955.

Architecture and InteriorsThe castle is composed of several floors, each with a different atmosphere and function.

First FloorThe first floor has a very ancient style, with armor stands, potion laboratories, and rooms, with walls made of stone bricks and cracked stone.
There is also a secret games room used for illegal poker games♣️♥️♠️♦️.

Second FloorLarge, ornate rooms designed for parties, receptions, and theatrical performances.

Third FloorThe kitchen and dining room are the most important rooms on this level, surrounded by other service rooms and an icehouse with cows inside.

Fourth FloorA large royal library occupies much of the floor and is dedicated to reading and study.A large brazier in the center hangs from the ceiling.

Fifth FloorThis floor houses the royal chamber and the office of the King of Heliopolis and high-ranking government officials.

From here, a staircase leads to the Hanging Gardens, decorated with tropical plants and a jacuzzi.

The staircase continues upward inside the neo-medieval tower, reaching a quiet reading room with a small private library.

Finally, the stairs reach the top level: the roof of the tower, where an observatory with a telescope for observing the universe is located.🔭🪐✨️(The view of Heliopolis from here is spectacular🌇🌃.)
