Velasca Tower 🌇 Milan's Brutalist Icon 🏴

This retro-futuristic Brutalist skyscraper was built in 1955 in central Milan by BBPR architects, drawing inspiration from medieval defensive towers. A city landmark, it is recognized worldwide as a masterpiece of 20th-century Brutalist architecture.
Replicated in Heliopolis's largest square, Piazza Duomo, the tower maintains its iconic form from Mediterranean steampunk to utopian Brutalist and in a rationalist neo-rationalist neighborhood, but the tower is inspired by a real example in Milan.
The interiors are partially completed: the first three floors house a library and shops, while the upper level houses luxury apartments. The rooftop features a large, customizable lounge: my personal vision is a rooftop bar with a nightclub for happy hour.
A major update to this tower is planned for the future, along with the completion and updating of all interior and exterior finishes.
