I’ll start with the positives: the building quality in Chapter 3 is clearly better than the first two chapters. The structures look good, there’s more visual detail, and it’s obvious more effort went into the map’s appearance this time around. However, the map feels far larger than it needs to be, and that size works against it when there’s so little guidance on where to go or what to do next. The progression is confusing and unnecessarily drawn out, with massive open areas that take forever to cross and almost no clear direction, which makes it feel more like wandering aimlessly than actually exploring. Progression often depends on memorizing locations, including areas from previous chapters, and being sent back through older content to flip levers or unlock new areas without being clearly told is frustrating and tedious, especially if you haven’t played those chapters recently. The heavy use of teleportation only adds to the confusion, since you can lose track of where you are and sometimes don’t even have time to read messages before being moved again. The underwater sections make this even worse, with large portions of the map underwater, poor visibility, little explanation of what you’re supposed to find, and no clear access to water breathing, or at least none that’s communicated well enough for the player to reasonably know. On top of that, frequent spelling and grammar issues in signs and books make instructions harder to understand when clarity is already a problem. By the end, I couldn’t complete the map naturally because I was so lost, almost quit multiple times, and ended up using creative mode just to avoid constant backtracking across huge areas. The ending was especially disappointing, because after spending so much time collecting fragments, having them taken away with no real payoff makes the whole experience feel pointless rather than impactful. I’ll be honest, I even had to make a new account just to leave this comment because I genuinely want you to fix these issues, not because I’m trying to be a jerk or hate on the project. There’s clearly potential here and obvious improvement in your building and effort overall, but the map desperately needs clearer instructions, significantly less backtracking, and better pacing. If these problems were fixed, I’d actually want to replay this and see where it goes, because the idea itself is interesting. Please, clear instructions, less backtracking, and stop making me revisit every chapter like it’s homework. I’m saying all of this because I want the map to be better, i beg you.
