Dark Moon Server Announcement

Dark moon will be shut down soon, as the choice of the two owners. Please share this post with as many players as possible. If needed, someone can re host the server, but gold and splash will not be a part of it.


Note from splash: first of all i love you all so much, you're all so amazing and i could never thank any of you enough for all of the memories and happiness and love you've shown me throughout this past year. whether you just joined a day ago or have been with us from the start, each and every one of you will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart. i will never forget all of the things this server has done for me.. i'm so sorry i have to let it go. but all good things must come to an end. it's taken me so long to realize that even the happiest parts of life will eventually be over. but that's okay. please, don't focus on the bad- remember all the amazing times we've all had together here.. remember all the amazing friends we've made, experiences we've shared, and memories we've created that will stay with us all our lives.


when this server was first posted on planetminecraft in late december 2015, i was not in the greatest place in my life. but you guys were there for me, and you've done so much for me, and i will never be able to repay you. i hope that i have been able to bring you all some happiness too, and that you will all be able to find a new place that will make you feel just as happy and loved as dark moon may have been able to. and remember this: dark moon is NOT dead. i may be giving up my ownership, but the server and the friendships it has forged will all live on. if any of you ever want to talk to me outside of the server, please please please talk to me on any of these places:

i love you all to bits, alright? you're amazing, incredible people and you have done so much for me. i may be saying goodbye to you now but i will never. forget all the things i've
experienced. at first, i thought i would be able to stay on dark moon with you all forever, but it seems life has chosen a different path for me; i know that i've caused so many
inconveniences and problems by being so inactive and that i am simply no longer suited to own this server. my personal life is changing and taking me away from paths i once followed, and
it's my responsibility and calling to follow that path, as it is for each and every one of you. follow your heart and chase down whatever makes you happiest no matter how far it runs. this
is my advice to you all: if something brings you a sort of happiness that you don't think you'll ever be able to replace, follow it to the moon and back. the heart gets what the heart wants
if you allow it to. maybe not in exactly the way you first expected, but it will come, and happiness will follow. even the darkest corner of the earth has light. i love you all.

Note from gold: hi everyone. i wanted to show people a lot when i started this server with splash. i wanted to show them how fun it can be to RP with others. and to just be yourself and be amazing and rp what you love. and things didnt exactly work out as planned. and this is me and splashes choice. please respect us. and i know you will, because youve given us amazing care and support over the past year.

my one regret leaving is the fact i couldnt have been a better owner to you all. and believe me, i really wish i could. but i was so inactive, worrying about how things wouldnt be the same. and i cant change that now.

if you have people you love, never ever stray away with them, stay with them for the rest of your life, because before you know it, they might all be gone. make a wonderful server with many lovely people, and call it dark moon, one of you, and carry on our legacy of fun rps and good times. that is the one thing me and splash ask of you.
