You hear a knock on the door to your quarters while you train with your blade. Upon opening it, you're greeted by a young man who is very much out of breath. His hair is a mess and his legs are cut, his leather shoes almost worn apart.
Between his panting breaths, he speaks. "Sir, I have a very urgent message for you!"
He holds out his hand, which possesses a crumbled envelope. You take it and quickly open it.
The letter contains information and a plea for help; a mining encampment which has just recently been opened has been overtaken by a terrible plague! The undead roam the halls, the caves, the camps. Almost the entire crew has been devoured or transformed. Hearing of your brave actions in the past, the survivors call out for you.
Do you choose to accept? Will you make every effort save the encampment?
Deadmine - Zombie Survival is a redstone-run, wave-based survival map in which you kill zombies for XP levels which, in turn, allow you to upgrade weapons and unlock new rooms in order to help you better combat the ever-deadlier threat. This map requires absolutely no mods, but includes and entirely optional resource pack to help improve the immersion of the map!
The textures are mainly taken from my in-progress texture pack dubbed "ARPG", and includes every texture that is used in this map. Feel free to use your own though! Keep in mind the map was made using the texture pack.
I put a lot of work into this! Many of my hours have been wasted to give this to you guys. If you enjoy it, the least you can do is leave a diamond! It's a single click but it means the world to me. Thank you in advance!

Alternatively, run the bat called "quickreset". This puts only the map into your saves folder, so you can easily play the map again, or install it faster.
If you use a custom directory using the new launcher, you have to manually install the map.

Additional Notes
This map installs differently from most! Extract the folder included wherever you like, then run the .bat file called "install". HE PLAYED YOUR MAP :P
As for the map itself, I really liked it! There's just something about being completely alone with probably literally hundreds of zombies trying to bite your face off. And the feeling of worry you get when you hear 6 or 7 doors being broken at the same time always scares me. Oh, and I think I speak for everyone when I say that the first time I heard the sound it makes when you start a new wave blew my mind.
Ya must contact my friend, he is in love with zombies(kinda).
Nice map tho
