Many years ago the youtuber "Herr Bergmann" started a minecraft project called "Die Insel" ("the island") where he and many others lived on an island with a really dense jungle. I always wanted to play on a map like the one in his project but I never found one quite like it and he never published it. A few years ago I tried to create my own with worldpainter but even after many hours and attempts I was not happy with the results and gave up for a while. But then I found the folder with my old maps a few days ago and again I searched the internet for minecraft jungle islands but again could not find what I hoped to find for so long. So I reinstalled worldpainter, watched tutorials and tried one more time. I guess I could never really give up on this project.
After some hours of learning and trying I finally finished this map.
It is not perfect. It is nearly impossible to exactly do what your imagination shows you. But it is the closest I ever got.
Maybe somone else also is on the lookout for a map like this
It is made for the version 1.19 (maybe works for 1.20)
It has caves and ores and everything
Some structures only generate after 1000 blocks in any direction
Normal biomes start generating behind the edited area (2000x2000 blocks)
So even if there is something missing on the island you can go explore further out
