Desert Haven is the City we're building at modcow.com. I put 15% done, but I don't really think we'll ever be "done". It's a constant, ongoing collaboration.

We've only just begun... the plans are epic (and we're definitely anxious to work with other builders!)

The first video entry is my 4 story house (100%). The goal was to create an aesthetically pleasing building with complex wiring that did not make the structure look awkward. I did this by creating a "wet wall" essentially, a hollow area all the way around the bottom portion, and then hollow areas at the bottom part of the top floors to accomodate the mess of redstone wiring. There is even a hollow wet wall area dividing one of the floors.

This allowed me to have light switches and switches for turning off the water elevators (creating a totally secure area since the elevators are the only way up) without it looking bulky or strange. That was the goal anyway, and I'm fairly happy with it.
