These are a few ships from DESRON 26, namely the ones that accompanied CSG-10 on its 2016 deployment to the Mediterranean. The USS Roosevelt however is based out of Naval Station Mayport, FL.

It includes schematics for the following ships:

USS Nitze DDG-94

USS Roosevelt DDG-80

USS Mason DDG-87

USS Stout DDG-55


All ships are 1:1 scale.

October 10, 2016, USS Mason was transiting the Bab-el-Mandeb (BAM Strait) when she was attacked by 2 land-based Houthi Rebel Missiles. Both of them impacted the water and caused no damage to the Mason or her crew. That's the basic story I heard in the Arabian gulf 4 days later. We then learned that the Mason as well as another destroyer fired back and destroyed 3 Radar stations in Yemen in response to the attack. When CSG 10 began its transit back south and up through the Red Sea, passing through the Red Sea were the ships USS Nitze, USS MASON, USNS Arctic, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and one more I cant remember. IKE had launched 2 Sea hawk helicopters equipped with rotary guns and M240Bs off their bay doors. IKE also saw increased measures for its own firepower, security had 3 240s on top of the 9 50cals. The BAM Transit lasted approx 4 hours, no attempts were made to stop/attack the strike group.

Awesome story! Thanks for sharing. I do plan on making CSG-10 as it appeared in the fall of 2016 on its deployment to the Mediterranean. I just need to finish up the USS Monterey and USS San Jacinto now. :)

We did go to the Med but about 5 months of the total 7 was spent in the Arabian Gulf. Anyway, I look forward to more of your projects :D

Haha yeah there may not bee too many more, the San Jacinto and Monterey are in development hell and I leave for USMC recruit training in 2 weeks xD

I wish the best of luck my friend. When I did the Navy's Boot camp almost 2 years ago, it was an experience to remember. I cant say what you should expect since that's a different branch, but expect to be pushed to your limits in an effort to get the best soldier out of you. Again, I wish you luck with training ;)
