This is a massive, 313,600-chunk map based off of the book Dinotopia by James Gurney. It
includes a detailed recreation of Waterfall City (interiors to come), and a custom terrain island for survival!
More locations from the series will be added in future updates.

For lower-end devices/smaller downloads:
The full island is 632.8MB. If you would like a smaller download of just the city (26.6MB), you can find it here.
This does not include the full island, only Waterfall City.

The Plan:
This is only the first installment of the overall project. We hope to continue adding more cities and landmarks
from the Dinotopia books as time goes on, as both individual maps and as updates to the full Island.
Some of the upcoming additions we hope to add are: Canyon City, Suaropolis, Pooktook, Poseidos, and more!

Troubleshooting/Faq
Make sure that you open the three mcpacks and mcworld files included in the zip.
The mcpacks are the behavior and resource packs, the mcworld is the world itself.
Opening them will automatically import the packs and map into the game.
If the map still doesn't look like the screenshots, even after importing the packs into the game,
you may have to manually
activate them in the world settings under "resource packs" and "behavior packs".
If you get stuck floating at the beginning of the map, the easiest fix is to switch your game mode to creative and fly back over to the city. (This is caused by the simulation distance being too small for a teleport command block at spawn to work).
Command to switch your game mode is "/gamemode creative" then "/gamemode survival".
The footage and screenshots were rendered using a 3rd party RTX shader, which is not included in the download,
but can be found here.
If the world file didn't show up in the .zip or after extracting, this was due to the world having "§" in the world name to color text. This has now been fixed and the download has been updated with the renamed world map.
