Dirt Catherdral

This is a build I made with Lockenioa. It took us a little under a week with world edit and we built it for the Black Lung Mining Spawn Contest (mc.blacklungmining.com). This build was really just for fun, when we heard there was a contest, our immediate thoughts were DIIIRRRTTT SPAAAWWNNN!!!!! Mainly because we had wanted to make a dirt build for a while, but never had a good oppurtunity. What made this extra fun is we had no plans, and had never worked together so we really had to think on the fly. Lastly special thanks to Jort, Jay, Super, and Jimmy for worldediting for us.

always tougth you first made this with other materials and then just used //replace 3 :P
because it looks so nice :D

So I guess PMC is in the dirt stage. Find old beautiful building / build you made, world edit it to dirt, upload it, get more diamonds then the original.

Hah, using world edit to make it is cheating, anyways, I don't think it'd work to well anyways, because the majority of detail is done with half slabs and stairs, also you'd have no more lighting. So for the record, we actually built this by hand, ask anyone in the special thanks list. That meaning said I agree, there are quite a few more dirt builds.

Oh I believe that you build this by hand. It's just that I could probably build something cool and WE it to dirt and it'd get more diamonds while it's dirt than if it wasn't dirt. :p
