This is a very compact design of a double extender pointing down. It is 4 by 2 by 4. This is very resourceless and only uses:

-2 Sticky Pistons
-2 Redstone Torches
-1 Repeater
-2 Redstone Dust
-7 Building Blocks
- 1 Comparator
- 1 Hopper
- 1 Dropper
- 1 Random Item

This machine is compatible with 1.7+.You can look at the double extender going up here! I do not have a design with this, so if anyone builds a design with this please point me out! :)

I have compacted the design from 5 by 2 by 4 to 4 by 2 by 4. This also made the extender more efficient.
