In this video, I walk through why I designed a new minecart loader, including a review of my previous “smart” loader and the most common critiques. I also cover a Java-specific solution by NanoRex that uses a comparator update detector (CUD), and why I didn’t go with that approach.
Finally, I introduce my new “dumb” loader that replaces the “smart” aspects of the previous designs with a simple timer. This design solves the issues from my original loader while remaining simple, fast, compact, and compatible on both Java and Bedrock. Jump to 03:57 for the full build walkthrough.
