Ah yes, I see what you mean! They really should have a 6-over-6 pattern. The reason I didn't do that is because I generally have an aversion to texture/resource packs, shaders, etc. I believe it impedes the usability of builds when viewing them properly requires an extra pack. I want my builds to use what Minecraft itself has to offer and not rely on something third-party. I do wish that such window patterns were in vanilla Minecraft, and if they were I would use them.
