it is made by placing four blocks of gold in the planned center of the flag, then putting three diagonally expanding gold blocks out from each corner. next, put iron blocks on the "rays" that expand to the top left and bottom right. after this is complete, place obsidian blocks around the whole edge of the flag so far. after this is done, place diamond blocks in the remaining places. decoration is optional.

Rules of the flag:
it must be illuminated
nothing but air may touch the flag unless hanging it or flying it like a flag proper, or in the sail of a ship.
