This is a build of the Eiffel tower I did a while back but I finally decided to post it here! The build in question took about 2 weeks to complete, and several hours of that was watching pictures of different views of the Eiffel tower. I even become so desperate as to use Google maps 3D view for it (with little success).
Overall the build was a ton of fun to do, though also not without its fair share of frustration over not getting the shape exacly right, and probably hundreds of small adjustments made over time to get the right shape.
Ive always been a fan of this beautiful building and as a matter of fact I've tried building it before, though nowhere near on this kind of scale. With some simple math i decided that making it about 249 blocks was the highest Minecraft could possibly allow while keeping the shape intact so I decided to go all in. The tower measures 97x249x97 blocks in size as of now and is basiclly only the shell of the tower with very little interrior.
