Welcome back to another Aeroteam build!
Another aircraft today, this time a Jungle Jet. Embraer’s E190 has become a ubiquitous sight around the world, not least at airports served by JetBlue. The American airline has 60 of these not-quite regional jets as of September 2021. Eagle-eyed viewers, however, will have noticed that this is no ordinary JetBlue plane. The airline calls this one the Blueprint livery, for obvious reasons. The design features a life-size, albeit cartoony, depiction of the aircraft’s innards, from overhead baggage to nose gear.
JetBlue rolled N304JB out of the paint hangar in these colours in 2017, being the first E190 to feature a special livery, despite the airline’s other types having enjoyed several of them. Whether or not this is symptomatic of some anti-Embraer bias in JetBlue’s corporate culture, we don’t know. Efe, who builds on our server, not only painted this livery, but extended our E175 into an E190. You can gauge the results for yourself, but we think it rocks.
