The Pit!
This is an adventure map were the object of the game is to escape from the Pit. The idea first came about from watching the movie 'The Dark Knight Rises' during the scene were Bruce Wayne has to escape from the prison. (Please note: if you do not know this movie you do not deserve to play this map).
The Pit can be played in many different ways by yourself or with friends, here are a few options of gameplay:
Survival Games: make sure all players are on adventure mode before starting. Each player starts in an allocated hole at the bottom of the Pit, then the 'Pit Boss' pulls the starting lever and the games begin. The object is obviously to survive but it is important to note that all the best chests are at the top.
Pit Racing: fairly self explanatory just a race to the top with or without friends, chests or no chests and friendly or PVP.
We are intending to create an entire series of different 'Escape' themed maps if this one gets enough love. Please feel free to give some feedback and/or ideas for improvements on this or any future maps!

4. type in to the search bar: 'run' hit enter then type '%appdata%' hit enter
5. click on .minecraft (might need to go into roaming first) and place 'the Pit' file into saves
