Replica of the Farnsburg in Switzerland. - Chisels and bits Madness!

The castle was built around 1330 by the Counts of Thierstein.
In 1798, the castle was destroyed and is now a ruin.

Built with vers. 1.16.5, Winthor Medieval Texture Pack, Chisels & bits 0.3.4. (the map does not work with the newer versions!) and Create 0.3.2g (for the roof of the barn and the train bridge chains).

Building time: one and a half years.

That will take longer, though, as I prefer to be outside in the summer.

Oh, sorry, I didn't see this response, so excuse the late reply. I look forward to seeing your maps in the future! Also, I've been having trouble loading this map. I've installed the mod and even used the same version, but it stays on the loading world screen and doesn't seem to budge. Is that normal? Do I just need to be patient? Anyways, thanks for the response!

You must use the version Chisels & bits 0.3.4.
Unfortunately, the map does not work with the newer versions.

I've just been able to explore it. It's wonderful! Is the barn's roof unfinished, though, or am I experiencing some sort of glitch? Also, do you plan on adding furniture to the interior? Either way, it's so gorgeous. I don't think I've seen such a detailed recreation of a castle! And I've never even seen a recreation of this particular castle's interior! If I might ask you another question, what resources did you use as reference for building this castle?
For some reason, there also seems to be no drawbridge chains appearing for me.

I just noticed that I used textures from the Mod Create to build the roof of the barn and the train bridge chains, because I was not satisfied with the standard textures.
If you run Create and unzip the file again, everything should be displayed correctly.

The castle will also have furniture when it is finished. The interiors are inspired by other castles.

Ah, I see. I can see a bit of wartbug castle and others in there. Also, what version of create, to be exact? Thanks for the responses!

This looks really great! I can't wait to see how you decorate everything! Also, is there any way to view your other maps? Like, do you have them on a server or something? In any case, your attention to detail is beautiful.
