The Evangelic church and the remains of the Teutonic Knights' stronghold, separated by a mere trench, are a source of great pride for Feldioara. The 13th-century Romanesque basilica, featuring three aisles and a subsequently added bell tower, possesses an intriguing feature: a vaulted gallery on the second level of the tower dedicated to the church's founder. In the 18th century, the tower was fitted with a roof modeled after the one on the Black Church in Braşov.

Inside the church, the walls are adorned with intersecting vaults, supported by half-column piers in the chancel. The capitals of these piers are embellished with vegetal, anthropomorphic, and biblical motifs. Only a few remnants of the pre-Reformation altar were preserved and later transferred to the Black Church.
