I've created a jetpack that let you fly with the power of fireworks. Wear the Jetpack, hold some gunpowder and use the sneak button to start to fly. For more informations, you can check the youtube video.
How to install the contraption:
1) get in creative;
2) place a command block in the spawning chunks;
3) copy and paste the command in it;
4) activate the command block.
