This is my submission for the "Life on Mars" Contest.
You are a lonely adventureer on a lonely world, for you have lost your friends and have no place to go. The "things" at night come out of the cave, and tap, tap, on windows all night or more. Stay in the light, for dark things of old worlds dwell in the shadows...
Have fun, don't talk to strangers, and avoid exploding rovers for goodness sake.
Oh, and don't go into any caves.
