Edo castle / The Tokyo Imperial Palace still sits in the southern part of Tokyo Chiyoda city.
It is the largest of Japan's many castles and was the central nucleus of the Edo shogunate, led by the Tokugawa.
This world data is an equal-sized reproduction of the largest such castle in Japan.

Edo Castle
Currently called The Imperial Palace and located in the southern part of Chiyoda City, Tokyo, Japan. Its total area is equivalent to approximately 20% of Chiyoda City.
Until about 200 years ago, the Imperial Palace was known by the name Edo Castle, the largest castle in Japan and home of the Edo shogunate.
The castle was originally built by Dokan Ota on the eastern edge of the Kojimachi Plateau in 1457, and after Ieyasu Tokugawa entered Edo Castle in 1590, it became the Tokugawa's residence there.

この世界データはそんな日本最大の城郭を復元したものです。
現在の皇居東御苑にあたる本丸,二の丸, 三の丸に加え現在の北の丸(北の丸公園)、西の丸(宮殿地区)、吹上(吹上御苑)、西の丸下(皇居前広場)を含む江戸城内郭(皇居一帯)、更に旧大手前(千代田区大手町)、旧大名小路(千代田区丸の内)を精密に再現する。
隅田川と江戸湊、外堀によって囲まれる範囲で、現在の両国橋から神田川に沿って御茶ノ水、水道橋、市ヶ谷、四谷、赤坂、溜池、虎ノ門、幸橋に至る周囲約16キロにも及ぶ広大な領域もいずれ建設するかもしれません。(江戸城惣構）

城下町の復元か現代東京の再現どちらかを選択する。
建物は全て内装付き。

惣構え全域を含む規模は11.321kmX10.007km(11321ブロックX10007ブロック)にもなり、面積や建物の規模や品質など全てMinecraft史上最上級の和風城郭になります。
完成後JAVA版と統合版の2種類のワールドデータを配布します。
なおワールド公開後、この江戸城を使用したオリジナルの動画などはアップロード、公開しても構いません。
ワールドデータをマルチサーバーで公開、動画や配信、番組の企画などで使用する事も問題ありません。

と3度築かれている。
どの天守も鯱や破風の飾り板を金の延板で飾っていた。
現存する天守建地割絵図（断面図、立面図）やNPO法人「江戸城天守を再建する会」の天守復元調査報告書によると、天守台から天守棟木までが144尺（43.63m）、石垣下から入母屋屋根の大棟までが93尺5寸。（68.63m）
従来の59mより約9.7m程高い。
これは太陽の塔や23階ビルとほぼ同じ高さであり、姫路城天守の46.5mを遥かに凌駕する。
日本最大の面積を持つ城に建つ天守閣として相応しく、まさに江戸幕府の権威を体現した建造物と言える。
しかし寛永度天守は「明暦の大火（1657年）」により、完成から僅か19年で周囲の建物と共に焼失。
直ちに再建計画が立てられたが「泰平の世に天守閣は不要」との判断から江戸の町の復興に重点が置かれる。
天守閣があった期間よりも、天守閣がなかった期間の方が長い。天守閣跡には花崗岩の天守台が建てられ、現在も遺構として残されている。

New EDO CASTLE UPDATE V0.1 : by Nishikino_YT 09/17/2024 6:52:49 amSep 17th, 2024
2024年7月17日:制作していた原寸大江戸城全体の致命的欠陥が露見した為西の丸下武家屋敷の試作を永久停止。
数値上の原寸大に重点を置いた事が災いした模様。
7月20日:半蔵門から北側の建設、本丸御殿建設を永久停止。SSDに保存していたバックアップデータを削除。
7月29日:より本物や図面に近い完璧な再現と情報量の追加ができるようにする為、更に巨大な江戸城建設計画を思案中。
8月20日:仕事仲間と共に次作の江戸城(新江戸城と呼称)の地形造成、江戸城天守閣試作、櫓の試作も開始。前作江戸城の建設や更新を完全に停止し試作品区分に指定。バックアップフォルダに移動して保存。
9月7日:Xに新江戸城の進捗を初投稿。図面古写真実物全てをMinecraft内に正確に落とし込み今度こそ本気を出して建設を開始。

7月20日:半蔵門から北側の建設、本丸御殿建設を永久停止。SSDに保存していたバックアップデータを削除。
7月29日:より本物や図面に近い完璧な再現と情報量の追加ができるようにする為、更に巨大な江戸城建設計画を思案中。
8月20日:仕事仲間と共に次作の江戸城(新江戸城と呼称)の地形造成、江戸城天守閣試作、櫓の試作も開始。前作江戸城の建設や更新を完全に停止し試作品区分に指定。バックアップフォルダに移動して保存。
9月7日:Xに新江戸城の進捗を初投稿。図面古写真実物全てをMinecraft内に正確に落とし込み今度こそ本気を出して建設を開始。

July 17, 2024: The prototype of the samurai residence under Nishinomaru was permanently suspended due to the discovery of a fatal flaw in the entire castle.
It appears that the emphasis on the numerical scale of the original castle was a disaster.
July 20:Construction of the north side from Hanzomon Gate and the Honmaru Palace is permanently halted, and backup data stored on SSD is deleted.
July 29:A plan to build an even larger version of Edo Castle is being contemplated in order to more accurately reproduce the original castle and drawings, and to add more information.
August 20: Together with a colleague, we began topographic development of the next Edo Castle (called the New Edo Castle), prototype construction of the Edo Castle keep, and prototype construction of the turrets. Completely stopped construction and updating of the previous Edo Castle and designated it as a prototype category. Moved to backup folder and saved.
September 7: First post on X about the progress of the new Edo Castle. All the drawings, old photos, and the actual building are accurately put into Minecraft, and this time we get serious and start construction.
The real work is about to begin.
