Hi there everybody! For a long while I've been looking for a way to make a "true" drawbridge, that is, a contraption that would push out a line of blocks in a space that was originally empty. Besides, this "true" drawbridge also had to retract the line of blocks after it had been used. And all this had to be completely automatic.

It is possible to make an easy 4 gap automatic drawbridge with these characteristics, but one can simply jump that length. So after a lot of thought and thanks to the new features in 1.5 I managed to make this.

I adjusted this drawbrige so that it would draw during the day and retract during the night. Using a bit of imagination it can be adjusted to work with a button press or a pressure plate, etc.

To work the bridge when you download it you can:
-Replace the daylight sensors with levers to test the mechanics.
-Type in the following commands to change between day and night:
/time set 500 <-- day time
/time set 14000 <-- night time
Each of the above commands will draw/retract the bridge.

I believe it is not possible to make an 8 gap drawbridge adding another line of pistons because there's no way to activate each line independently of the rest. Moreover, the redstone blocks will make a complete mess of the drawbridge if there's more than one (I tried it). Modifications and/or enhancements are welcomed.
