Hello again,
This is the G-class destroyer, commissioned in 1936 and another example of the "standard"-type British destroyers of the 1930s, leading up to the Second World War. This time I used the Gallant model from World of Warships, including the period camouflage. The Gallant model in WoWs is exactly the right specifications and is a very accurate and detailed model so little extra work was needed to correct anything. These "letter-series" ships as you can imagine are very similar to each other and the G-class is no exception, featuring only minor improvements over the A-class destroyers, including a slightly higher top speed.
Armament for the G-class destroyer is the following:
4 x 120mm/45 QF Mark IX Guns [4 x 1]
8 x 12.7mm/62 Vickers Mark III Anti-Aircraft Guns [2 x 4]
8 x 533mm Torpedoes [2 x 4]
20 x Depth Charges (1 x Rack, 2 x Throwers)
Please give it a like and post a comment with your thoughts, I'd love to hear what you guys think. The last of my three standard-type British destroyers will be posted tomorrow.
Thanks for the diamonds that I've received so far guys, much appreciated!
