Hey everyone!

This tree is probably the mother of all plants: older, bigger and higher than probably everything you've ever seen.

Have a look! Nice for building a tree house...or a city...?

Thanks a lot to my friend Michel for sending me these awesome new pictures!! ;)

Please leave a diamond for this project and subscribe!
Kind regards

This is amazing. I've been looking for giant trees online and can't find a tutorial. I'd really like to know how to build tree roots and how to make the trunk not so square. I also can never get the tree branches to look realistic. Is there a tutorial that you made along with this? I tried to do the 3D view but I can't move so I can't get an idea of how much wood and how to shape things. If not thats okay! Otherwise, I love the build and it really is a perfect tree!

Hey there!
Thanks a lot for your lovely words!:)
I actually didn’t follow a particular tutorial, more like a trial and error project I would say. Tools like World Edit and/or voxel sniper can help a lot, especially if you are working on such a big tree. I feel like this is a great idea, making a tutorial would be handy for a lot of people… mhh got to think about that :D I‘m not very versed in making video, we‘ll see. :D Have a nice day!

PS: I did most of the roots with voxel sniper via the /b e melt command and (/b l ) to make several lines and sculpted the rest by hand… that was very tedious haha

kind regards
Paul

Hey! I just created account here so decided to thank you for this amazing tree creation :)

I used this tree as reference to build the Spirit Tree (from the Ori and The Blind Forest game). I made a video and of course I put a reference both on screen and in the description. I didn't just copy it, I had to modify it a lot in order to resemble the character that I was trying to make. I hope it is ok that I used it, in the description you said that it's fine as long as there is a reference. Anyway my channel is very small and I didn't profit from this at all (I'm not monetized on YT).

I have one question though. I have some people asking for the schematic of the resulting tree. I don't mind uploading it for people but I don't want to do it without your permission. Please let me know what do you think about it :)

Hey Demon_Crafter!

Thank you for being the first person that was able to give credit the way it’s supposed to be :D I really enjoy your video content as well, you gave the tree a great makeover - actually what I intended for people to do, transforming this rather simple build into something new and even more fantastic :D

I see that you made changes to the original, but if I‘m being honest, I‘d prefer you not to post the schematic at this point of time, maybe if you add more buildings to your map in the future. Then I feel like a complete map download is more fitting.

I sincerely hope you can understand my point of view and I wish you all the best for your YouTube channel! Great content!
And once again, thank you very much for mentioning and linking this project in your video!:)

Kind regards,
Paul

Thank you a lot for the reply!
I completely understand your point!
I thought I could possibly make a download for my world in general (not just schematic) so that way it'll be other things as well (for example, when I get to 1000 days or more). That way it will include all of my other builds. I haven't finished with the tree either, I plan for some interior to go there, and the island awaiting for a makeover.
I just really like to share when people ask, even if it's only a couple of them :)

Yggdrasil, I have finally found you.

I have been look for gaint trees for hours. You sir are a lifesave (cause I can't build) and I shall make a shrine with a parrot named after as my thanks.

Wanted to build the Erdtree from Elden Ring as a base but lack the skill. But this will be of great help as a templet and I shall be forever greatful.

Hey there!
All you would need is WorldEdit to copy or paste certain areas. There are plenty of useful tutorials on YouTube on how to proceed and how this plugin works. So, no, there is no need for you to build it. If you paste it in your server please remember to give credit (Builder: Paulzero).
I hope this helps! :)
