Here is a new building for our City Project Averton.
The building itself is a 125 meter high residential building with a steel framework construction. It is divided in three parts by 2 crossbeams in the 7th and 12th floor and has a big glass facade in the 10th floor. The main frame is hold by 4 black steel barren in each corner and the blue colored security glass braces. It has two staircases for the habitants and 4 flats each floor except the first 2 floors and the 10th floor. Every flat has its own balcony and 1-2 bedrooms.
In the ground level are rooms for shops and in the 1st floor is a noble restaurant called “pour la branche verts". In the 10th floor is an artificially garden with plants from tropical regions. At the roof top is a temporary nightclub every first Saturday in month.
The ELDRIDGE PROJECT is made from the until then unknown architect Yoshi Takamoto. The design won the second place in the architectural competition made from the City of Averton in 2064. The topic was mentioned as: “Combine living in a dense environment with the aspects of sustainability and comfortable living conditions”. Therefor the city provided 3 plots in South Averton where once the Carter-Thomas Insurance Building and the Evio Mall complex stood. These three plots were planned as independent designs for residential towers but got connected with a park complex and an underground car park. The first place made The Greystone Estates by “New Way Architecture” and the third place took the Vanadia Tower by Lord Jeffrey Chester Hennings.
The reason for this good placement was the fact that every gram carbondioxid the habitants produce will be compensate by the park level. Also the steel framework outside the windows caused a marvelous light inside the apartments. In addition to that was the exotic look of the building decisive.
The design of the building is more based on postmodern designs and even if it looks very asian the original design was based on a building in Hamburg, Germany.
