"The Gloriam Fermata was originally named the Bethsa, she was a wartime ship but of the scouting kind, and was only fitted with a few cannons here and there. In a fight known as the Battle Over Poliner Mountains, Bethsa had been sent with a sister scounting ship to traverse through the fog-ridden peaks of the range before the armada group was to fly through. Journals and the crewman indicate that they 'saw a flash of red and orange' and their partnering ship fell through the fog in a raging inferno vanishing below the ship.
Upon the arrival back of the Bethsa, they alerted the armada and formulated a plan. Within an hour a great battle took place with large warships blasting gunpowder into the sky and woodchips flying off the hulls of each waring ship. Fighting through the thick of it all, there were twenty baleen sized ships and about thirty more dolphin ships; three humpback sized on the armadas side and four on the intruding forces. The struggle lasted for an hour until there were only a few left over ships, hevaily damaged, on the armada team. Two of the smaller sized enemy ships retreated back into the mountains but only for fifteen minutes when a whole other barrage came forward. This time there were fifteen ships: ten dolphin and five baleen. The armada had no chance, but fortunately for them, another set of ships was nearby ready to assist. However, this did not end up well for the armada, as each ship fought until their last cannonball shot. Three of the enemy's baleen ships remained, and only the Bethsa was the last remaining ship. Through differing tatics, the baleen ships had to enter into the mountain range during the second wave of attacks, and because of this it was the defining asving grace for the Bethsa. The Bethsa crew piloted quickly through the mountain tops and nipped at the baleen ships little by little until one was down, then another, and finally a third. Once the third wave of armada ships came through, they rescued the Bethsa crew. When they had returned back home, the king had annoited them with the honor of being ranked to a probational general warship. The king dubbed it, 'Gloriam Fermata', tying in with the music-related nameing tradition of general warships. It meant the glorious stand-hold as the ship and her cew withstood hours of conflict that they were never suppose to endure.
The king upgraded the ships to have an iron hull, military-grade bomb-bay, large rotating turrets, and to make it much larger than what it originally was. Also retaining to tradiation, the first mission the king sent the crew out on was to kill a large beast as the final task for them to be an offical GW. The Gloriam Fermata commanded with three smaller ships and detroyed a goblin dragon. Once the skeleton was adorned on the outside of the ship, they became a member of the elite group of general warships."

After months of putting on final touches (the actual structure of the ships and design probably took about three to four days), I bring to you the Gloriam Fermata.
