How to install Minecraft Maps on Java Edition

This is a map I made when I Was a member of FyreUK, it never got released so I am posting it now, 7 years afterwards (should have done this sooner but rather late than never).


Installation:

1. Download and install MCPatcher[url=mcpatcher-hd-fix.en.softonic.com/
]
[/url]
2. Select Version 1.16.4
3. Download The Texturepack
4. Select all settings (check Texturepack README.txt for installation instructions).
5. remember to set the right gamerules:
/gamerule doFiretick false
/gamerule difficulty peaceful
/gamerule gamemode adventure or creative

Hey, when I try to load the map everything at the water level is destroyed, there are islands that spawn inside builds and lakes. I saw your previous comment about trying in 1.16.4, deleted the save, and retried in 1.16.4 but it didn't work, I tried again in 1.16. Anything you think will help fix this issue?

Hey! I believe that the world was corrupted when I got it from the FTP. so if its broken, its broken, I could spend some time fixing it, but cannot be bothered.

uhm when i downloaded the map it had multiple lakes which ruined some of the buildings, at first i thought i found a decent town map that didnt have any flaws to it but i guess i was wrong

Wow the FyreUK creative pack that I have lost for years!
Didn't Phil or Matt have a backup world save so someone else could host at least ;/
Seems like a shame all those amazing builds lost

There is a backup of everything on one of the ex mods FTP server, we are looking to open it up seeing as FyreUK wasn't a legal company then it should be fine to release it to the public. But we will see when it gets done, lots of issues with the connected textures which have gotten ruined in the later updates ( after 1.17 they messed up meta datas which have ruined a lot of builds).

Yup I was pretty upset about the meta data thing changing :(. Wow it's awesome someone has a backup of it all at least. Thanks for the info, glad someone is working on fixing the textures for newer version, didn't think it was possible :o
