Grünsteinburg Castle

Grünsteinburg is my latest addition to my map The Medieval City "Risby." Grünsteinburg resides in the Grünweiss, the western areas of the island Eisey. The castle overlooks the White Sea. Grünsteinburg is the ancestral seat of the house of Grünstein. The house and lords of Grünstein have a tumultuous relationship with the free city of Risby. In the past, the house of Grünstein has been vassals to the free city; currently, an era of open hostilities endures.

Grünsteinburg is inspired by Burg Eltz in Germany. I also took much inspiration from Warhorse's KCD series. This is my favorite castle I have ever made. I am proud to announce that this build has a full interior! Every building is fully furnished. 99% of the windows are accessible through the interior. I have spent more than a year perfecting the castle.

I plan to add a smaller rival city to Risby in the harbor under Grünsteinburg with surrounding farms and mines.
