Wait, wait, wait. You say you put Gigant Space Turtule and bunch of whales into Sci-Fi Contest? Thats Purely fantasy man. You are disqualified! Also it's copy of Discworld idea, thats double disqualification! And that Turtule looks like from Mo' Creatures Mod... Triple one I say!
Well not quite. Altrought "Discworld" is a fantasy saga, and inspired me to make that happend I fallowed my own path in the end. Thats true, I am huge fan of sir Terry Pratchett work, and that map is form of my admiration towards his stories. I don't know how much of you read first Discworld. and i don't mean Color of Magic. I meant book before actual series. Its purely Sci-Fi story about artificial being that happen to be a turtule. And that's what my map shows. A.I. Turtule that carry biosphere for habbitants and is protected by spaceships that looks like whales. I could go into detailes how it work, but its not a point. I took diffrent aproach towards spaceship and spacestation idea.
Beside isn't Minecraft link magic(Enchanting, Portals, Potions) with science(Redstone Devices)? What would be more Minecraft that Gigant Space Turtule who is very mix of this two things?
To make it more in Minecraft spirit i looked at Mo'creatures turtules and elephants, yes iam guilty of that. I tried to match size of planet and it went well, altrought after you load world saplings may grow and destroy concept.

Lol, Discworld attempt! the elephants look quite nice, but perhaps you want to make the turtle a bit less elongated and a bit more round. and the disc is larger in diameter than the actual turtle. so water that falls off falls directly into space. and what are those things swimming behind it?

apart from that, nice concept. if there was a price for the most original this would make a good competitor.

As said in descryption I made turtule based on Mo' Creatures mod. Looks nice, sure its not perfect square, or i shoud say cube. It's my attempt to make Minecraft Space Turtule, Not orginal one... but idea of making biger disc sonds nice. To be honest tried it at first but elephants heads got in the way and I was forced to gradualy narrow it to fit. After I finished making Discword I felt map is too empty, so... I decited to make more awsome creatures that swim trought space. Space Whales because why not.

about the disk: make it on top of the elephants heads, and then make a gradual point downwards ( I believe you have done that already, but adapt it to the larger disk.)

Nice idea i will try it. But I am afraid elephants ears will be in a
way. I will deffinietly try it, but due to common sens world should lean
on their backs as more stable ground

then build around it so the disk leans on the backs and the heads, but bypasses the ears. it doesn't have to be a perfect disk

With such perfectionist as I every detail should be perfect i will try to figure something out. Thanks for sugestions.
