Here is a world save I was playing for awhile in Hardcore mode when I got bored of building. It includes:
Home base
Farm (chicken, cow, wheat, potato, carrot, pumpkin, watermelon, sugarcane, netherwort)
2 mines (one 15 levels and one 12 levels)
3 mob spawners (to help get xp to repair and enchant items)
beginning of rail system to jungle area with dungeon

The base has 2 horses and 2 mules and everything you could need. Chests are stuffed including enchanted items.

Wow you really did get some work done... Are´nt you afraid of losing your world :/ Or have you made safetyp copies? :D

Well I got very nervous after I built the farm but before I built the mob spawners which was probably about 15 hours of game time. The most nerve racking times were avoiding lava when mining for diamonds and my initial trip to the Nether to obtain blaze rods and netherwart.

I now have a backup posted here :)

Thanks! Yeah, I like stone brick better too, but was just trying to survive at first. Then I was trying to figure out ways to up my xp so I could enchant items. Seemed like I never had enough. Everything is a bit harder to do if you know that when you die the world deletes. In fact this was the third world I started in hardcore. The other two I died.

EEEEEEPPPIIIICCC!!!!! I download it few days ago but until few hours ago I put it in my saves and started playing.
It's epic.
Addicting.
Very well done.
Awesome....
Only thing is that it was made with cobble ;3 I like stone bricks better :P
