There is a bug in 1.9 which causes an important command(which sets your spawn in heaven) to not function properly.
If you are playing version 1.0.8 or above this should affect you!
To fix this, enable commands and type the following:
/setblock -1759 137 2636 command_block 0 replace {Command:"/spawnpoint @a[r=200] -1784 149 2667"}

What's this map about?
Basically its Sky-Block with RPG elements.
But before you stop reading, all that's similar is the concept of managing resources

and the chunk of dirt in the middle of nowhere.

In this 'Heavens Quest' you will be rewarded with points every day you managed to survive.
Then with those points you will be able to buy Items at a store.
But that's not all there is to it: You won't be able to buy any item just like that!
You need to unlock these items before you can buy them by completing various quest. Only then you will be able to obtain all items you need to survive.

Quests function as following:
You will find Iron bars blocking your path, on the left side signs which indicate what you need to progress
and right below a chest. On the right you will find a lever.
Put the items you need into the chest from where all required items will be removed,
Then, once all conditions are met, pull the lever and the path will open.
Also you will be given an instant reward most of the time and sometimes an item in the store will unlock.

- Quests -

This challenge consists of 2 major instances:

- The "Earth"
- The "Heaven"

"Earth" is similar to Sky-Block:
A chunk of dirt and cobble in the middle of nowhere.
That's about all.

"Heaven" is split into multiple sections:

Offering Hall

There are rules in this map you should be aware of.
(a book with all rules is in the game as well)

- Punishment for Death:
Survival is important so death will be punished.
If you die you will not receive points for 1 day and will not be able to go to heaven

- Heaven:
Once a day, in the evening, you will be able to go to heaven.
There you can go after Quests, by items or go to the Arena.
Time stands still and you will be set to Adventure mode.
Upon teleporting back, time will move again and you will be set to survival again.

- Arena:
You can go to the Arena once a day, not going there one day will not stack the amount
of attempts you get at the Arena.
Dying in the Arena will count as a regular death and you will be Punished likewise.

- Gaining Points:
You will get 10 Points each morning, if you survived the day prior to that.
You can gain additional points by killing monsters or offering items.
Each monster will yield 1 point.

- Skip Day Tokens: You will get 3 tokens, which you can use to lapse until the next evening, when
the portal would open. You are not able to obtain any more tokens, so use them carefully.

This map truly showed your creativity. Instead of giving players lava&water/trees, you gave them a barren island. And the portal to heaven, which opens for 15 sec everyday, is the only way to make changes to the island.

I rate 10/10 for the gameplay at start. It is really not an easy one, although the island is not too small, it's not getting anywhere bigger. The only thing we could construct is made of dirt and stone, which would possibly be a mob spawning room. And due to the death punishment, we had to feed ourselves on rotten flesh at start, until we got a carrot by luck. The night is also really challenging, the creepers that spawned in odd places caused us a few reset. This is a real challenge for skyblock experts.

Bugs found:
Leather Chestplate purchase not working, because the id for chestplate is leather_chestplate not leather_armor
Stone brick quest says it requires 10 stone brick, but only consumes 4.
The server kicks everyone when morning comes(Probably 1.9 bug)
Mutiplayer games are unaffected by death penalty unless all of the players are knocked out (tp @a problem)

Make Arena more rewarding
Make items more expensive(We both have 70+ points and have no where to spend them)
Provide torch purchase if possible(Make the early game a little bit easier)

I would love to help you on fixing the bugs and adding some additional challenges for the late-game players, about building industrial farms, villager trading, enchanting, and mob grinding(iron golem included). Or, if you permit, I'll make a sequel to this, in HELL.

First of all, thank you very much for your feedback :D
Then for the bugs: Fixed them, except for the java.lang issue. I assume its due to memory issues and that heaven always is loaded (forcing loaded chunks)

Also, thank you for your suggestions!
I've already increased pricing and i'll take a look what i can do in the arena ;P
I'll gladly take more suggestions and try to implement them as best as i can.

As for helping me with fixing bugs, reporting them is helping alot :)
Also, there are Story Elements planned for the late-game, so look forward to that.
(Will take a while, since i am still writing the story and exams are coming up :| )
And if you want to make a sequel in Hell, go ahead, im interested to see what you can make there :D
